Since they haven’t announced a decision yet (that I know of), I wanted to throw my hat in the ring as to where Amazon will have its second headquarters: Las Vegas, NV.

Amazon has a long-time working relationship with the state of Nevada, housing a very prominent master distribution center in Reno, NV for at least 15 years. Zappos was acquired by Amazon and is stationed in Sin City. And the Zappos CEO/Founder (I can’t remember his name) persuaded the city to build out a downtown utopic business space which I think Amazon will find plenty of use for. (Nobody else has to date)

But finally, I think it comes down to the workforce available to Amazon to fulfill the mantra of being a “customer-centric company”. Vegas’ hospitality labor force is legion.
