Superbowl LIX Halftime Show

February 11, 2025

Kendrick Lamar is an outspoken lyricist who made an American statement in the Superbowl LIX Halftime Show, which has the wordless concept of “dystopia” put enticingly onto the lens, however it so awkwardly, upon the households of the massive millions who are completely oblivious to urban city struggles for life.

A divided nation is this separated by the Catholic fiefdoms so ecclesiastically disordered from the suburban weekend chores in maintaining one’s self-sufficiency, and that attitude of American spirit.

The musical choices were typical radio fare. Clubgoers can sympathize too. It is in that outward display of divide that is evidentially clear from the 2008 Presidential Election and the repercussions of the last one and a half decades. A staying of a nation-states attitude towards an internal crises in those lending and spending too much causing havoc upon the future little ones and their spending attitudes.

After all, I did not see Mr. Lamar criticize the budget deficit. I mean, the debt. A ticker-taper rolling reel of that, yet, is not in good taste with what out to be: celebration.

Something that is clearly and distinctly uniting. Harmonious. One.

Amidst the Publicly Schooled, and inevitably upon the lives of tens of millions of others.

And it is in that interesting datum, that more than half the nation is not interested. Even in the gluttonous event itself; that brings us towards a truer notion of celebration, as that ritualistic excuse – and therefore honorable reason – to meet with family in joy and gladness.

Not in the cumbersome cement blocks and cryptic messages of dominion – perceivable in the distasteful approbation of murdercrime presented by Serena Williams.

Why not Lion King from Broadway so grandma isn’t confused about Drug Laws involving her hearth?

But then again, is that not the point of governmental interference in the family home? Is not that what is good intended?

Such fomentations quell, or at least ought to, a miscommunication of the inevitable unwinding of a failed Civilized State at favoring the belly. For again, so many are struggling to favor theirs.
