I say spackle because of the material benefit that adds more than texture. Brightness in the aim at pleasant, with that nevertheless healthy mercurial possession which opens the mind to wonder.
The sparkly. That irridiscent feel which glints, it does not divert. And wonderously difficult to capture optically with such a digital intermedium.
