Terrestial Aperture ft. J. Bradley Greer @ Rhett Baruch Gallery
Mr. J. Bradley Greer ignites with a patient passionate projection of a fine whimsy with a masterful attention to detail, permitted to dance and flourish with the flowery shapes and other-worldly ideas as part of his showing at the Terrestrial Aperture opening at Good Naked Gallery – held by Rhett Baruch Gallery.
The point in judging his wondrousness is nowhere near to belittle. Nor is it to suggest that these dances are maniacal in any manner. Their attentiveness, yet ease, is what is so celebratory and ingenious; a childlike simplicity at sparking awe, yet not reverie, in the waking consciousness.
His oils are elaborate with the ideas, with both the conspicuous and inconspicuous play with texture, providing us with the idea of detail, and fanciful, with the genteel obsessiveness of an artist that is more than absorbed, but spellbound, by the flowery dimensions he has discovered for us.
This is not juvenilia. This is exquisiteness.
This is not folly, this is fun.
Pure. Sweet. Simple.
The larger the scale the better, and this is my positive encouragement to the fine artist – a diluvian of magical space sparked by an artist lost in his world, only to find us a better perspective of enjoying life. To know the desire to desire more.
