‘Bespokeology’ by Julia Couzens & ‘Tipping Point’ by Sarah Amos @ Patricia Sweetow Gallery

In that fun of fabric, the need to extend its originality in human experience – what else is the expression? – welcomes the happy exuberance of Ms. Julia Couzens with her opening ‘Bespokeology’ at Patricia Sweetow Gallery. With petite (for my taste) compositions, dressed with other-worldly outlandishness, the demur from rebellion is perfectly balanced with that gusto of vitality for novel flair. Working with the arsenal of womanly garment, the artist expands that idea right-minded thought in perceiving new beauty.

Outcast is the phenomenal example of such exuberance. Psychedelic in form, the plush revelation of a healthy mixture of bright turquoise with the rascal-esque fringes signifies that proud peculiarity which is anthemic to the whole art exhibit. The right choice of media to extend otherwise unconventional utility is quintessential avant-garde and a healthy representation of contemporary fine art.

Meanwhile, Ms. Sarah Amos confidently expresses detail with the intricate workings of collagraph and fabric excitement. Her  impeccable effort at printing to perfection the (what I imagine are) fantastical idea of clouds, and that ripe enigma found in Double Dutch which centers the mind upon a transcendental plane of fixation…

…It is here where fine art strikes gold; in the fine remembrance of divine idolatry and the sacred attention to detail, lest the god feel sincerely disrespected for such lacking attention in worship! Such is the bosom of the fine arts in the West, and such is the appropriate extension of this historical continuum.
